Rub-a-dub-dub three men in a tub...
And I want to be the baker. When I get off work and have 20 minutes to chill before I hop in the shower and get ready to go to class I like to unwind by reading the forwards to bread baking books. There are some really cool, mystical ones out there that totally fascinate me. Or more appropriately, YEAST fascinates me...
Anyways, once Matt and I eventually get an apartment this summer I'm hoping to become professional bread bakers. My mom sent me a cool link you guys may or may not be interested in: BreadTopia. If you're also interested in bread baking you should check it out. And if you're not interested, you're crazy: I mean, c'mon, it's nutritious, delicious, and oh-so-fun. Check it out.
Also, I think I want to sign up for some sort of Community Supported Agriculture subscription. Hell, yes.

Did you get another haircut? I LOVE it!
Yeah, a bit ago. It'd grown like a full 4+ inches since december, so I said screw it. I'm not sure about this whole retraining my bangs thing... they're ending up in my face a lot and it's obnoxious. But whatever. I think I might like it better than last time.
your new haircut is wicked. and by wicked, i mean TOTALLY STELLARIFIC.
Also, I have been searching for a bread recipe that would produce high quality bread like the 3.50 Natural ovens loaves I've been plunking down our hard earned cash for. To me it's worth it to help avoid diabetes/the whole insulin resistance thing and the kids are used to eating it so they don't know any different. Can you and the Bread Doctor help me out??? A bread MACHINE recipe would be a double bonus!
I'm on it.
And also, also: when are you going to come nurse me back to health with your nursing skills?
Once I finish studying for my exam tomorrow, my UBER hard exam the next day, my quiz for the next day, and writing the paper I HAVE to submit to a student resource dept by tonight/tomorrow morning in order to get it back in time for the due date. Basically I'm screwed.
If you die, maybe we can file a lawsuit against the school. Or maybe you should just plan on upping your life insurance... for the children...
Also, I think everyone should get involved in Community Supported Agriculture.
Have you read the Tassajara Bread Book? I have an old copy, so I don't know what the newer ones are like, but I kind of enjoyed it. It was published by the Zen Center in Marin, though, so there's a lot of "KNEAD your SOUL into the BREAD....LOVE your LOAF" nonsense, but it's still pretty cool.
(not that you SHOULDN'T knead your soul into the bread, or that you shouldn't love your loaf, but really, now...)
Excellent; thanks for the suggestion!
So I have to ask... didja like my version of a "song" in the title? *grins* I did it just for you...
I love it. :)
