Hmmm... well, Kay (haha! old lady name!), I'd be a dirty liar if I pretended I knew where our sweet layout came from. Phil made it prior to the new template change with the widgets and whatnot and we've kept it because it works with the dual sidebars for both of is, and as you say... it's sweet.
I'd imagine that you'd go into the actual html template and where it has commands (? effin html language I don't speak), change it there. But if you asked Phil he'd probably be able to give you a much more accurate and helpful response.
